#GivingTuesday at the Holocaust Center

In previous years, the Holocaust Center had witnessed virtually no ROI on their #GivingTuesday efforts. But with the launch of a major awareness building campaign in early November, there was an incredible opportunity for this mini-campaign.

I focused on the Holocaust Center’s mission to create a more inclusive and respectful community. Their awareness building campaign, Make Hate History, is about inspiring a grassroots movement to stop all forms of prejudice and injustice in Orlando. For #GivingTuesday, I injected personal stories into the campaign by asking the Holocaust Center’s staff and board members to get involved.

I designed these frames. I also shot the video, photos, and edited this all together. Quotes provided by the board members and staff were used with the pictures.

In addition, several videos were used to increase engagement and also allow the Center’s staff to speak about their own motivations for “joining the movement”.

Launched on Facebook, this campaign garnered record-breaking donations, making the campaign an overwhelming success.
